Aft 400 over episode... Simpson finally got a movie on the big screen! There's definitely fun and laughter like the tv episodes. However, the movie ending was more or less expected and it turns out to be dull. Those that haven seen any trailer of the simpsons yet pls DO NOT watch them or it will spoils your mood when u watch the movie. This is to say the trailers had already shown majority of the funning scene. This movie is 87min...so worth wkday prices in spore.... ah but here in brisbby everyday is the same....

Brisbane Chinatown

Singapore Lah- Chicken rice stall

Went ard Chinatown at Burnswick 2dae. Kinda lost my way ahaha thou its small but i could manage to find the Chinatown main entrance. Found ourselves along pubs and cafe.....and LOTS n LOTS of POLICES!!! AND also an ambulance guess there was street fight....

Went to Yuen supermarkt and bough chinese herbal ingredients for herbal chicken soup etc..... Had our lunch at Singapore-lah.....but i don't think the shop owners are singaporean look more like malaysian...they also sell ipoh hor dun or wat lah.... there were chicken rice, laska, prata, curry etc....alot but the laska taste like shit!!! aahaha....i like the chicken coz its tender but nt well marinated!!! The rice is sticky obviouly they added too much water...overall the chicken rice was ok... for $8AUD the portion is more than singapore but for quality any kopitiam in singapore is nicer!!!

Aft which we brought selwin n yuleng to central's korean supermarkt....i bought myself 1 tub of kimch kinda regret tt i dint buy the last visit.....

Sch starting soon.....nxt monday and been receving a lot emails on lectures.....

Finally got to watch a movie here in brisbane.... went to to the nearest and cheapest cinema yst to catch harry potter. Phew... it cost me AUD 5 bucks on tue to watch a movie with my student ID...cheaper than singapore.

The movie was abt 2hr 15min. It doesn't have much actions as seen by the previous episode. There were only 1 fighting scene at the end of the movie. The entire movie was more or less about emotions.......

Went to the city with pei'e 2dae. Bought my self 2 shirts at 25AUD (CHEAP!!!) since i lost 4 shirts ahaha..... Den we went to have our lunch at a korean restaurant.... the food taste gd.... cooked by koreans and the price is on the budget side. Afterwhich we did grocery shopping at the korean store.... ahaha i found Shin ramen!!!! lol.... and there were lots of korean food + asian food....... guess wat we found this fish cube thingy with a lady tt look like AUDREY!!! ahahaha

2nd day in brisbane.... today the weather was colder than yst. Thou it feels like aircon onli....everything was alrite till the bldy wind blows....

Went to sch today to do some admistration...took a train and a bus there all bu ourselves ha! But this morning when we enter the train every ang mo stare us as if we r ailens.....

Yst was terrible..... thou everything went accordingly no delays..... but when i got hm from indooroopily mall..... i found my 3 shirt and 1 laptop plug missing damnnit!!! Couldn't find them and i dont rmb whether i took them out of my backpack???

I hate the traffic here....veri few perdestrian crossing and the signal is damn fast..... must run acroos the road. The worst was you can walk on the pavement haf way and there is no more way xcept the opposite road....werid pl!!! Bus stops r MILES away from each other......

When shopping yst as the stuff they gave us 80% r used be4 n look so digusting tt we dont wanna use it..... The food and fuits were damn ex.... bought the cheapest apple from the supermarket wa AUD3 plus for 1KG!!!! so we took 5 and paid 4+++ it was sweet but doesnt look nice!!!

Everywhere we go must put on a mask and greet ppl...... meet a lot ang mo and nt use to seeing so many on the street....esp when i took the flight here there were barely 10 asians on board!!!

Going to the city on fri and wkend grocery shopping at west end kinda like wet market style..... Thanks to Pei'e help....ha

Yesterday went dinner with rongchang, qingyuan and amanda at Su restaurant. The korean food was nice. But not enough... we had BBQ thou i had sore throat and was coughing all the way.

We tot the raw meat could be refilled ahaha some misconception.... after dinner i wanted to treat cakes but couldn't find TCC ard scott road.....den we turn out at party world sing till 1am..... It was fun and the first time Rongchang treat us and fers time heard rongchang sang!!! hahaha...........

I mask my laptop myself for onli $1 ahaha bought 1 big chunk of sticker from masam malam..... thou partially masked it look better den begin plain....

Damage of the day.... bought this camera canon ixus 70 at my mum n dad's friend shop. At a lower retail price.... but damn me dono y always lazy go atm draw money end up paying the xtra card charges...... end up paying 50+ less rather than 80 less.... Frm july onwards not onli GST 7%, Nets admin charge also increase and not many retailer willing to use nets anymore....cash is better.

Shrek 3 was nice but not the best out of the three sequence. For me, shrek 2 was the best with more laughter and actions. Shrek 3 talks about Harold the king fell ill and die, and shrek has to succeed the throne but as an orge he think that he wasn't fit to. So they manage to find a prince Aurthur who was 2nd nxt to the heir. This sequence we could see more actions from the different princess....

Strange.... i dint see Aurthur pulling his sword ahaha.... The only part that really make me laugh was pinocho trying not to lie but lying to the prince charming...

Finally all my stuff are settle this wk. The long waited release order is out and wef 3 july say sayo-nara to SAF!!! On the same day my visa was also approved yea! Yst dar went to pay the rental for the 1st sem and we r REALLY going to brisbane on the 9th July!!!

Bought a LG laptop R405-S last wk at PC show at bargain price. Nw the bldy extended warranty cnt reg online coz too new.. call the company also nv reply me after taking dwn my problem and number. cb!!!

The biggest problem now is the exchange rate bldy aussie raise so high to 1.308!!! which is 10 cents more aka 10% more!!! New Zealand annouce yst to raise ~7% chiam!!! entire world raising their currency wth is singapore government doing....

Transit to brisbane will arrive at 0835hr the nxt day. Return ticket will be on 26 Nov to syd and 28 Nov back to spore arriving back home at 2230hr. Means we will be spending 3 days in sydney. STA onli accept cash.cheque... no nets... credit card will pay xtra 3%!!! so i went down n draw so many time from atm so pathetic and scare ppl will rob me!!!

Bridge to Terabithia

Some people might not understand what this movie is about and the trailer and poster have been misleading everyone out there. You might think that this movie is similar to narnia where children enter into a world of fantasy and fight their way to retreive their kingdom. However this movie focus more on 2 children's psychological problems and their ability to create their own world of fantasy call Terabithia.

The main character, Jess is a boy who is abit of anti-social and kinda weak. He's always bullied by the 2 guys in his class and the grade 8 fat ger! He dare not fight but even his own younger sis was bullied. Jess was talented in drawing but his parent discourage it as they were poor.

Jess became open up when Leslie came to join the class. Leslie parent were fiction writers and spend most of their time in the study room writing hence Leslie was lonely most of the time. Leslie was a good writer like her parent.

Jess and Leslie quickly became good friends and they found a place of their own in the forest where one need to swing across the river with the rope which was dono hw many yrs old. They found a tree house and soon renovated it and call their very own home. Leslie was veri good in imagining things and soon they could see their very own world of fantasy.... with trolls, dragonfly warriors, dark master etc.

Each time they went to Terabithia, they had many strange encounters and they vowed to free all creature from the dark master. Soon, Leslie die while swing the rope across. Jess became very sad however he still sense her present around. After many tots, he decided to build a bridge across to Terabithia to make it safe for his sis to cross......

KK kinda slow movie. No actions. However, its a very sad story. Shouldn't expect a lot. Not worth the weekend price!!! D/L or DVDs....

Istana

Went to Istana open house with dar. First visit to that place that was always closed and heavily guarded with polices and guards. Entrance fee for Singaporeans was free. The place is so big big big but empty empty empty!!! It resemble botanic garden but only can see more grasses! Botanic garden is 10x prettier. The journey up the house was very far up a slope. We pay $2 each for an entrance fee to the Istana house. In there were many 'treasures' given to Singapore from countries over the world. Silver, gold crystal, glass, painting...................etc.

Only the first level was opened to public. We could view the dining hall and the presentation ceremony hall. Nothing more...but as a Singaporean not having been there make me a bit sua ku! Now at least I seen the Istana for myself. There was a statue of Queen Elizabeth which, to me seems like the '观音妈' of Istana....wahaha!

On the way down, I met Ernest my sec sch fren who always fail exam tgt with me aha.... the 红字军团 of 4E1. ok the next open house is on the sunday before national day. Do go for Singaporeans, Dont be a mountain turtle!

A MUST watch Korean movie by 김아중. She is a singer and actress in real life. This movie talks about the plastic surgery issue in korea. Whenever i tok to my male friends about korean's beauty 8 out of 10 would tell me they are all plastics. cowdz!

Maybe they are too 'natural' that make us tink they actually went thru the surgery. Back to the movie.... the main actress was a FAT lady with talented voice, however due to reality she wasn't beautiful hence was not recognised (goes the same for singapore n many where else eg. s'pore idol...) so she became a background singer for a so call beauty (which was actually not aha). Meaning every song the beauty sang was actually by the FAT lady. This FAT lady was in love with the record manager, so she did watever she could to please him. After an incident she found out tt they were actually using her and the look of her make them puke, so she committed sucide. She did not died coz she was disturbed by a call which was from a plastic surgeons who always call her up for phone sex (her part time job was a phone operator).

She decided to blackmail the surgeon becoz it would cost her a bomb for a full body change. After 1 yr, she came back to the music industry as a BEAUTY! She rocks everyone on the streets. Soon she become hot and had her own concert. But things change her as she betray her best fren n father.

Her rival, wanted to expose her truth.......but blah blah blah
So DO go and catch this movie! It's both hilarious and touching!!!

33 dead in Va. Tech shootings

BLACKSBURG, Va. — In the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history, at least 33 people were killed in two separate attacks Monday at Virginia Tech, with 31 — including the suspected gunman — dying in one campus building, police and university officials said.

Two people were killed in the first shooting about 7:15 a.m. ET at West Ambler Johnston Hall, a coed dorm at the university in southwestern Virginia. Police said 31 people, including the suspected gunman, died in the second attack more than two hours later at Norris Hall, an engineering building. The suspected gunman killed himself, police said.

"I am really at a loss to explain or understand the carnage that has visited our campus," university President Charles Steger said.

At least 15 people were injured in the shootings...........................................
