1320hr STA bk a tix to brisbane but all direct flights in july full no more student far unless u r travelling alone u might get some chance to fly.... even transit are limited and i lucky to get the last 2 ticket to sydney on the 9 july 1950hr flight from spore. Transit to brisbane will arrive at 0835hr the nxt day. Return ticket will be on 26 Nov to syd and 28 Nov back to spore arriving back home at 2230hr. Means we will be spending 3 days in sydney. STA onli accept cash.cheque... no nets... credit card will pay xtra 3%!!! so i went down n draw so many time from atm so pathetic and scare ppl will rob me!!!

Bridge to Terabithia

Some people might not understand what this movie is about and the trailer and poster have been misleading everyone out there. You might think that this movie is similar to narnia where children enter into a world of fantasy and fight their way to retreive their kingdom. However this movie focus more on 2 children's psychological problems and their ability to create their own world of fantasy call Terabithia.

The main character, Jess is a boy who is abit of anti-social and kinda weak. He's always bullied by the 2 guys in his class and the grade 8 fat ger! He dare not fight but even his own younger sis was bullied. Jess was talented in drawing but his parent discourage it as they were poor.

Jess became open up when Leslie came to join the class. Leslie parent were fiction writers and spend most of their time in the study room writing hence Leslie was lonely most of the time. Leslie was a good writer like her parent.

Jess and Leslie quickly became good friends and they found a place of their own in the forest where one need to swing across the river with the rope which was dono hw many yrs old. They found a tree house and soon renovated it and call their very own home. Leslie was veri good in imagining things and soon they could see their very own world of fantasy.... with trolls, dragonfly warriors, dark master etc.

Each time they went to Terabithia, they had many strange encounters and they vowed to free all creature from the dark master. Soon, Leslie die while swing the rope across. Jess became very sad however he still sense her present around. After many tots, he decided to build a bridge across to Terabithia to make it safe for his sis to cross......

KK kinda slow movie. No actions. However, its a very sad story. Shouldn't expect a lot. Not worth the weekend price!!! D/L or DVDs....

Istana

Went to Istana open house with dar. First visit to that place that was always closed and heavily guarded with polices and guards. Entrance fee for Singaporeans was free. The place is so big big big but empty empty empty!!! It resemble botanic garden but only can see more grasses! Botanic garden is 10x prettier. The journey up the house was very far up a slope. We pay $2 each for an entrance fee to the Istana house. In there were many 'treasures' given to Singapore from countries over the world. Silver, gold crystal, glass, painting...................etc.

Only the first level was opened to public. We could view the dining hall and the presentation ceremony hall. Nothing more...but as a Singaporean not having been there make me a bit sua ku! Now at least I seen the Istana for myself. There was a statue of Queen Elizabeth which, to me seems like the '观音妈' of Istana....wahaha!

On the way down, I met Ernest my sec sch fren who always fail exam tgt with me aha.... the 红字军团 of 4E1. ok the next open house is on the sunday before national day. Do go for Singaporeans, Dont be a mountain turtle!

A MUST watch Korean movie by 김아중. She is a singer and actress in real life. This movie talks about the plastic surgery issue in korea. Whenever i tok to my male friends about korean's beauty 8 out of 10 would tell me they are all plastics. cowdz!

Maybe they are too 'natural' that make us tink they actually went thru the surgery. Back to the movie.... the main actress was a FAT lady with talented voice, however due to reality she wasn't beautiful hence was not recognised (goes the same for singapore n many where else eg. s'pore idol...) so she became a background singer for a so call beauty (which was actually not aha). Meaning every song the beauty sang was actually by the FAT lady. This FAT lady was in love with the record manager, so she did watever she could to please him. After an incident she found out tt they were actually using her and the look of her make them puke, so she committed sucide. She did not died coz she was disturbed by a call which was from a plastic surgeons who always call her up for phone sex (her part time job was a phone operator).

She decided to blackmail the surgeon becoz it would cost her a bomb for a full body change. After 1 yr, she came back to the music industry as a BEAUTY! She rocks everyone on the streets. Soon she become hot and had her own concert. But things change her as she betray her best fren n father.

Her rival, wanted to expose her truth.......but blah blah blah
So DO go and catch this movie! It's both hilarious and touching!!!

33 dead in Va. Tech shootings

BLACKSBURG, Va. — In the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history, at least 33 people were killed in two separate attacks Monday at Virginia Tech, with 31 — including the suspected gunman — dying in one campus building, police and university officials said.

Two people were killed in the first shooting about 7:15 a.m. ET at West Ambler Johnston Hall, a coed dorm at the university in southwestern Virginia. Police said 31 people, including the suspected gunman, died in the second attack more than two hours later at Norris Hall, an engineering building. The suspected gunman killed himself, police said.

"I am really at a loss to explain or understand the carnage that has visited our campus," university President Charles Steger said.

At least 15 people were injured in the shootings...........................................

Shocking encounter yst, went to make new specs at peace centre. When we were leaving the building jas shouted, 'OSP!!!'

OSP was standing at the main entrance staring at me. Mum just mentioned abt him and he suddenly pop out of no where. Manzz such a coincidence. We tok about how each other been doing recently... found out that his mum is real sick and he is moving to east coast/tampines area this wednesday. His sunshine plaza house sold at a good price. He seems happy but look really older, jas say he look more n more like old chee ko pek!!!

Den dono y till a point of time i duno wat to tok to him liao...but its been 1 yr and finally saw him again... strange feeling.... try contacting him be4 but to no avail.... mid-june i going bak to visit him when i clear my off anyone care to join me??? 5 working days in SAF is a lie, been doing 6 working days for past 1 yr plus..... n my off is like a mountain high but i could hardly clear due to manpower issue gonna have them all burnt!!! sobz...

My 4 wisdom teeth

Finally gt my wisdom teeth pluck out no pain experience on the teeth beside them ahaha. I went to the dental centre yst with dar. Appointment suppose to be at 9.30am but they call a day be4 n say change eto 10.30am. Man went i reach there felt so blur.... gt 1 malay nurse call n i tot was me so i went in she gown for me n enter the ops rm. The doc say i look a bit diff den go chek name alamak wrong patient my name is yong tt guy is long!!! so i went out n wait awhile sebei pei seh!!! Nt long the other side of the rm call me in so i went in and change to inpatient clothings n lay on my bed restlessly. The nurse say it will take SERVERAL hour for my turn.. wth call me come so early!!!there were 3 guys infront of me. and i stop eating the night be4 at 10.30pm n my ops onli start at 3pm plus!!! cold n hungry tt i can describe.....

WHile waiting there was a grp of media came in to flim so dental advertisment with kids, there were so adorable ahaha....aft they left all the while i was walking to the loo n bak to my bed doing nth so bored!!! den i overheard the nurse told one of the parentstt these wk alot ppl becoz they closed the center last wk becoz of a prof visit so they push all their patient to this wk man so i become the last patient.

Finally they called me in. So reluctant no nd to wait any longer. Went in the ops rm and they give me nse spary to unbllock my nasal cavities. Then they do a test on both cavities to check whether they r blocked. I cough out a bit when they closed my right nse ahaha the doc n nurse siam 1 side and laugh. Next they set plug and put me to slp. Less than 1 min they iv in the anasthetics i black out liao. The next moment when i heard the nurse call my name several time i woke up n it was nearly 4.30pm cowz to late....spend 1 whole day there.... the nurse keep telling me to continue slping but they tok so loud they i couldn't went bak to slp again den she scold me ahaha. I felt a bit werid tt something is missing at the 2 sid eof the lower jaw, but there wa no pain a all...AMAZING just felt tt my lower lips, chin m cheek has no sensation very numb.

When i was pushed back to my ward they bring over the packet of teeth they pluck out. Gave me a cup of glucose solution tt taste 100x nicer than ribena ahaha...stomach still complaining!!!

Again being gepo i overheard the nurses conversation tt the 2nd guy who was pushed in came out crying becoz she still felt the ETT tube still stuck in her thorat.... its just pyschological problem..... i felt nth aft drinking the glucose solution....n i can walk abt liao... they discharge everyone aft 2 hr when they came out but i 1 hr chao liao.. partly become they clsoe at5 but they have to wait for me till so late and i could walk abt like nth happen...

I onli experience abit pain be4 i went to bed...... till this morning one ofmy gum still bleeding..... i drool a lot yst nite n i woke up and put a lot tissue over my pillow, however my pillow still kana 1 small bld stain!!! nw i dun fell swollen nor pain ahaha and the sensation is bak.... just tt my right gum feels a bit werid abit tight maybe still bleeding bah. And i realise 1 big ucler in my right lower lips so horrible!!!! PUT bonjela!!!pain too i think they cut my lips during the ops coz i saw blood stain when i look at the mirror!!!!

Nw i really lose weight i onli drink milk for breakfast, porridge for lunch n dinner n strawberry ice-cream for dessert ahaha!!! njoying my 8 days long MC!!!! And STO goona be nxt tue....

Hehe... my bdae present in adv from dar. We went to vivo city yst and saw a lot families carrying this bear's hse box, so curious tt we went ard looking. Damn, look for 1hr plus also cnt find. so settle dwn drink dark choc latte from godiva to pamper ourself. After which we went over to harbour centre finally anyhw walk we locate the Make a Bear Shop. Actually located at the vivo-harbour centre link tt is at the Star cruise side!!! So we went in and make bears for each other bdae. Dress up the bear, told her 1 hr leh..... i onli 5 min niaz!!! the shop assistants were very polite helpful..... fun loving but the owner is horrible.... gt the buay song face!!! Good bdae present ahaha!!! meaningful too...

Korea = Broke!!! But it was fun!!! Breakfast at the airport was Mac and surprisingly they do not have any big breakfast.... regardless of fast good u go to they onli sell lunch menu. Once i Step out of the airport it was FREEZING cold....1 degree celsius niaz... not use to it. During our trip we really anticipated the snow!!! But it dint appear at any of our location we went to. Sob.. The coldest weather we experience was at the ski resort, -4 degree siaz damn cold, shivering!!! But aft that we went down to seoul i felt that 5 degree was nth ahaha.... so fast the 8 days trip ended and i still not use the the hot weather here.... hw i wish i could stay a bit longer and no nd to go bak work...................
